14th November 2002 - Yeshasvini Co-operative Farmers Health Care scheme launched  in the presence of  Hon'ble Chief Minister Of Karnataka Sri. S. M. Krishna.
31st  May 2003 - 16.1  lakh farmers enrolled under the scheme.
01st June 2003 - Yeshasvini scheme operationalised.
114 hospitals recognised for the providing cashless surgical treatment.
 01st  June 2003 - First Surgery (CABG) performed on Mr. Narayana Hegde, a farmer from Kundapur.7
10th June 200 - 100 surgeries performed by this day.
 
Progress achieved during 2003-04:
In the first phase of the project 16.01 lakh farmers were registered and an amount of Rs. 9.60 crores was collected.
The then Chief Minister of Karnataka Shri. S.M. Krishna lent a helping hand and made available Rs. 4.50 Crores as Government's contribution.
9,039 surgeries have been conducted as on 31st May 2004.
35,814 farmers cooperative have availed (valued at Rs. 66 lakhs) free OPD facility as on 31st May 2004.
113 Network Hospital has been recognized which is inclusive of Hospitals and Nursing Homes at City, District, Sub-division, Taluk and below Taluk levels.
